Shop Track ("we", "our", or "us") provides retail inventory management, stock valuation, FMCG master catalogues, and financial tracking software.
We respect the confidentiality of merchants and small business owners. Your pricing, profit margins, supplier contracts, and sales records are your proprietary commercial secrets. Shop Track is built on strict offline-first principles: your records stay on your local device.
🔒 Zero Cloud Tracking: We do not collect, transmit, store, or monetize your store's sales, inventory records, or customer contact details on remote cloud servers.
2. Data Handled Strictly On-Device
All data entered into Shop Track is stored exclusively within your local Android SQLite database:
- Store Profile: Shop name, owner name, business address, and GST/Tax ID.
- Inventory & Valuation: Stock quantities, unit costs, selling prices, barcodes, pack sizes, and low stock thresholds.
- Sales Transactions: Invoices, payment modes (Cash, UPI), items sold, and gross margins.
- Procurement & Orders: Shopping lists, supplier delivery receipts, and pending purchase orders.
- Suppliers: Wholesale vendor names, phone numbers, and balances.
- Operating Expenses: Store overhead records (rent, electricity, carry bags, transport).
3. Device Permissions & Usage

4. Third-Party Services & Advertising
- Advertising Services: In the future, the application may display third-party advertisements (such as Google AdMob) to support ongoing software development and service maintenance, in full compliance with Google Play Developer policies.
- No Commercial Data Brokering: We never sell, rent, license, or share your proprietary business numbers, margins, sales records, or customer contact details with advertisers or third parties.
5. Data Retention & User Deletion Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Instant Reset: You can clear all store records at any time directly in the app via
Settings → Store Data Management → Reset All Store Data.
- App Uninstall: Removing the app from your device automatically purges all locally stored databases, caches, and preferences.
